Thailand’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MNRE) on Wednesday launched the Center for Air Pollution Mitigation Communication (CAPMC) to centralize the fight against seasonal PM2.5 air pollution.

Minister Suchart Chomklin inaugurated the center, emphasizing the government’s focus on integrating data from government agencies and private partners (including LINE and AIS) to provide accurate, real-time updates and a seven-day forecast. The proactive establishment of CAPMC aims to prevent a public health crisis by addressing the severe pollution typically caused by cold fronts and still air between November and January.
