Thailand hosts dazzling SG33 opening ceremony

The officially opened at Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, with a dazzling show under the theme “WE ARE ONE.” 

Starting at 7pm local time, the ceremony featured spectacular performances that combined cutting-edge technology, music, dance, and cultural displays — a vivid celebration of Southeast Asian unity and Thailand’s role as host.   Thousands of fans filled the stadium, a sign of the region’s excitement as athletes prepared for two weeks of top‑tier competition.
