Thailand’s general election date set for February 8

Thailand’s Election Commission (EC) announced on Monday that a general election will take place on February 8, 2026, following the dissolution of the House of Representatives last week.

Advance voting day is on February 1st both within constituencies and from outside. Voters who are unable to cast their ballots on Election Day must notify authorities between either February 1–7, 2026, or February 9–15, 2026.
