Three Thai women have been rescued from a human trafficking ring in Georgia. The women were lured to Georgia with the promise of high-paying surrogacy work, but were instead subjected to forced egg extraction and exploitation.

The rescue operation was carried out by Interpol and Thai authorities, following a plea for help from the Paveena Foundation for Children and Women. One of the women was able to return to Thailand after paying a 70,000-baht ransom.

She then contacted the Paveena Foundation to help rescue the other women.  The Paveena Foundation is working to provide assistance to the rescued women and is calling for further investigation into the trafficking ring.
