Thai PM Shinawatra meets Indonesia president Prabowo in Bangkok

Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra welcomed Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto in Bangkok on Monday. The visit began with an official ceremony followed by bilateral talks. Both leaders discussed cross-border crimes, including online scams, human trafficking, and drug trafficking.

Both sides also committed to improving coordination between relevant authorities. Prabowo acknowledged Thailand’s efforts in addressing these concerns. In addition, the leaders explored avenues for deeper security and defence cooperation.
