Thai National Day: Celebration held in Yangon

A commemorative ceremony to celebrate the birthday of King Bhumibol Adulyadej, Thailand’s Father’s Day, Thai National Day was held in Yangon on 5th December.

Deputy Prime Minister, Union Minister for Planning and Finance U Win Shein attended the ceremony. The ceremony was opened by playing national anthens of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and Kingdom of Thailand. It was followed by an opening speech of Thai Ambassador to Myanmar Mr. Mongkol Visitstump.

After a group photo session, the Union Minister, Thai Ambassador to Myanmar enjoyed the performances of Thai traditional dance troupe.

Then, Thai Ambassador and wife hosted honorary dinner for the guests. The ceremony was also attended by Union Minister for SAC Chairman’s Office Ministry 2 U Ko Ko Hlaing, Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, Deputy Minister for Ministry of Foreign Affairs and many other concerned officials.
