Thadingyut Celebration: 2023 Industrial and Aquatic products fair is ready

The 2023 industrial and aquatic products fair marking the Thadingyut Festival is set to take place at the People’s Square in Yangon from the 27th to the 30th of October.

The upcoming fair at the People’s Square in Dagon Township will run 8 am to 10 pm with 500 sale booths. 

Joint Secretary, Fair Organizing Committee, Htay Lin, said " 500 selling booths will include comprised of MSMEs and other invited enterprises from regions and states and other organizations. As a special program, the aquatic products will be showcased and sold."

Products from 29 industrial zones, MSMEs, small-scale industries and the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development as well as industrial and aquatic products and products from regions and states will be available at the fair.

Joint Secretary, Fair Organizing Committee, Htay Lin, said " The entertainment programs will be from 6pm to 10 pm including DJs, dancers, special programs like magic shows and more in cooperation with the artistes from music, film, theatrical and comedians. This year, we also arranged E-sports competition along with the participation of any comers. And Final day, they can also challenge the well-known E-sport teams that we are going to invite."

It will also include charity feast, stage performances and magic show. Basic foodstuffs including rice, cooking oil, eggs and vegetables will alsobe sold at fair prices. Transport will be arranged for comers, according to the Fair Organizing Committee.
