Terrorists Arrested: Security Forces arrested Anonymous Force terrorists

The security force has arrested members of Anonymous Force, killing innocent people in Yangon Region under the excuse as informer.

On September 20th, the Ward Administrator of No.107 Ward of Dagon Myothit (South) Township and the Head of 100-Household were killed by a group of four gun men while working at their office. Concerning this case, the security forces made investigation in collaboration with the public, leading to the arrest of two suspects on September 24th in Dagon Myothit (South) Township.

Further investigation led to the arrest of the remaining suspects in Shwe Pauk Kan, Oattwin, Yankin, Hlaingthaya, and Dagon Myothit (South) Townships along with the arms and ammunition.

The interrogation revealed that the Anonymous Force terrorist group was formed with seven members in February 2024 after attending terrorist training at KNLA Brigade (2), and the arms and ammunition were provided by Hmat Gyi @ Hmone Gyi, who takes refuge in the KNLA Brigade (2).

They have committed the murder of Ward No.6 Administrator of Hlaingthaya Township in May and bomb attack at Kamayut Myoma Police Station in June, with 3 million kyats cash assistance for each terrorist crime. Effective action will be continued for the arrest of further suspects, and public are urged to cooperate with the security forces in combating terrorists.
