At around 9:00 pm on April 4th, the Aung Kyaw Moe Passenger Bus, traveling from Yangon to Yay, was blasted by a mine near Daungywa Village in Belin Township of Mon State. Following the explosion, small weapons were fired, resulting in the death of a man on board and injuries to another man and two women.
Security forces and social organizations rushed to the scene, transporting the injured persons to Thahton People’s Hospital for medical treatment. The attack on innocent civilians violates the Geneva Convention and constitutes a war crime. The local community strongly condemns the terrorists' actions, and security forces are undertaking necessary measures for the arrest of those responsible.
