Terrorist Attack : Kwin Chaung Bridge on Yangon-Mandalay Road damaged

On Thursday, the KNLA and PDF terrorists orchestrated a blast on Kwin Chaung Bridge, located on the Yangon-Mandalay old road about 3,000 meters south of Kanyunt Kwin in Phyu Township of Bago Region.

As a result of the explosion, a 60 ft long section of the bridge collapsed on the Kanyunt Kwin side, causing a significant disruption to transportation access. No injuries were reported.

Officials from the Road/Bridge Department are currently engaged in swift repair efforts to restore the damaged bridge. Meanwhile, security forces are carrying out a counter-terrorism operation in response to the incident.
