Iran’s Foreign Ministry stated that it did not interfere in Lebanon’s internal affairs, saying political matters concerned the Lebanese themselves.

Spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei said Iran remained ready for dialogue with the Lebanese government. He noted that Iran’s interactions with the IAEA continued under the Non-Proliferation Treaty. Baqaei criticized recent actions by three European countries and the United States at the IAEA.

He explained that the Iran–IAEA agreement reached in Cairo could no longer be implemented and was declared invalid. The ministry reiterated Iran’s preference for diplomatic engagement over interference. Baqaei emphasized ongoing compliance with international obligations. Iran confirmed its readiness to maintain dialogue with Lebanese authorities.
