





On 14th of August, the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development held a symposium and a ceremony to present Technology Transfer Certificates to the MSME entrepreneurs who achieved the best outcomes in production using the technologies provided by the Department of Small Scales Industries.
In his opening remarks, Union Minister U Hla Moe stressed that the research works have been carried out annually since 2015 and a total of 97 research papers have compiled and the symposium has been held for 16 times.
The Union Minister encouraged to conduct research works based on the nation’s necessities and market demand in accordance with the set priority lists. He added that it’s also important to apply the experiences and outcomes of the results in practical function.
Next, the Director General of the Department of Small Scales Industries clarified the matters partaining to technology transfer and research works. It was followed by the presenting of Technology Transfer Certificates to the entrepreneurs.
Then, the Union Minister and party oversaw the food products, consumer goods and research papers displayed at the commemorative exhibition. During the symposim, a total of 6 research papers were discussed.
