






On 9th March, Deputy Minister for Science and Technology Dr. Aung Zeya visited Singapore-Myanmar Vocational Training Institute in Yangon and met with the staff.
During the meeting, the Deputy Minister urged them for the emergence of MSME specialists and experts emphasizing on systematic and comprehensive training courses, effective teaching methods and the secure job opportunities for the trainees who completed training. The Deputy Minister also coordinated necessities and presented honorary gifts.
Then, the Deputy Minister inspected the classrooms, workshops and practical rooms of the engineering departments, oversaw the practical training process of hotels and tourism training courses and encouraged the trainees to strive to become reliable citizens who can contribute to the interest of the nation.
At the Governmnet Technical Institute (Insein), the Deputy Minister cordially greeted the students reading at the library and encouraged them to use their valuable time effectively to become qualified technicians who can boost nation’s MSME sector.
There, the Deputy Minister gave necessary instructions on library development and donated books and publications. He also inspected the advanced teaching aids at the EV Workshop and stressed on research development and technology transparency as well as the effective delivery of necessary EV information to the public and EV Stakeholders.
