Technological Development: MOST Deputy Minister tours in Yangon

Deputy Minister for Science and Technology Dr Aung Zeya visited the Government Technical High School (Ywama) on March 18th. He met with officials and instructed to conduct short-term training to nurture technical know-how youths, contribution to the socio-economic development of people. The facility provides variety of training courses on electricity and mechanical subjects as well as mineral production and research works.

On arrival at the Yadana Welding Training School, the Deputy Minister observed the practical works of the trainees and urged officials to make collaboration with concerned organizations for nurturing new generation who could contribute in nation building tasks. The training School has turned out 154 welding technicians since November 2022.
