






Under Mekong-Lancang Cooperation Special Fund project 2020, the food technology disseminating program-1 to the MSMEs in Myanmar was conducted at the Ministry of Science and Technology in Nay Pyi Taw on 15th and 16th August.
The 6 types of techniques on making juices, substitution products, jelly juice, soybean milk and cookies and agricultural products and dried fruits that have been exchanged among Mekong-Lancang countries were disseminated practically and theoretically.
Dr. Phyu Phyu Wi, Director General,Ministry of Science and Technology said " This program includes 6 types of food related techniques from the food technology exchange program of Mekong-Lancang countries such as China, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam. The program aims to improve the quality of MSMEs products with these technologies."
Through the program, trainees can build the communication network, exchange their knowledge and learned about food production methods.
Yi Yi Win,MSMEs business owner said " For practically, this course is very effective and I have learned how to conduct the progress of our industry. I got a lot of knowledge and benefits about the Juice industry, practical use and technical assistance from this program."
The program were provided 6 types of food techniques on making juices and substituted products from roselle fruit, mango jelly, making cookies from soybean paste, production of agricultural products with freeze dried technology and produce dried fruit with vacuum fried technology.
