Technical discussion: MoIP UM gave a remark at the event

An event of studying, assessment and giving advices by the technicians from India on the technical applying implemented by the Ministry of Immigration and Population was held at the meeting hall of the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw in the afternoon on 16th July and attended and given a remark by the Union Minister U Myint Kyaing.

In his remark, the Union Minister said that Asdhaar System of India is a successful technique and e-ID system is being implemented after studying it. e-ID system is the fundamental task for e-Government system of Myanmar. Currently, Biographic/Biometric data of individual citizen is being collected and 10-digit Unique ID is being issued. The experts from India are urged to study, assess and give advices frankly for the solution on the difficulties.

Next, the Union Minister presented gifts to the expertise led by Development Partnership Administration Mr. Anish Kumar from National Institute of Smart Government (NISC) and Modular Open-Source Identity Platform(MOSIP).

Then, the technical team implementing current e-ID system and the technical expert team from India held a discussion on 17th July and the Indian expert team will study and give advices and provide the necessary assistances, it’s learnt.
