Tatmadaw Meeting: Senior General meets with junior officers

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing on Friday held a meeting with junior officers from the office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army).

In this meeting, the Senior General said that it is national politics to preserve the cultural characteristics of the country. It’s found that there is no uniform progress in hilly and plain regions due to due to differences in climates, land conditions, transportation, education and communication.

For Tatmadawmen protecting the national interests, it is necessary to know the history of the country correctly, to be aware of the importance of the country's geographical position and the world's political scene. It’s found that the 1988 uprising was based on economic hardships rather than political conflicts.

Tatmadaw established a true and disciplined multi-party democratic path that the public want. Regarding the 2020 election, it has been found that the election was won by dishonest means and Tatmadaw had to maintain the state's responsibilities.

The State Administration Council has been making efforts to strengthen the multi-party democratic system and to establish a union based on democracy and federalism.

After completion of the emergency period provisions, a free and fair multi-party democratic general election will be re-held in accordance with the 2008 Constitution and the winning party will get the responsibility of the state in accordance with democratic standards.

Tatmadawmen must be faithful to their duties, families and to the state. Everyone has goals for improving their lives. They must strive to achieve their goals. Consciousness and caution can help the people to achieve the goals.
