Talk on legal knowledge: Taninthayi Region AG gave the talk for the students

Taninthayi Region Chief Minister U Myat Ko together with Region Ministers, Region Advocate General and departmental officials attended the legal knowledge dissemination talk for the students, co-organized by Region Advocate General office and Myeik University at the convocation hall of Myeik University in the morning on 26th August.

At the occasion, Chief Minister U Myat Ko gave an opening remark regarding with the necessity of legal knowledge.

Next, the Myeik University Rector Dr. Nay Thwe Kyi presented memorable gemstone painting to the Chief Minister.

Then, Taninthayi Region Advocate General U Ohn Than gave a talk on the important laws including Penal Code, Child Rights Law, Narcotics Drug and Psychotropic Substance Law, Counter Terrorism Law.

After that, Chief Minister and party met with the principal and teachers of Myitmo Private High School, heard the clarification of the principal regarding with the status of teaching and learning activities and the Chief Minister gave a speech.

Consequently, the Chief Minister and officials viewed the class rooms, Science Lab, Computer Lab, School library, Language Lab and Art Hall and gave necessary instruction, it’s reported.
