A talk on the Artificial Intelligence (AI) was conducted at the assembly hall of the Ministry of Information in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday.
First, Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn said that nowadays artificial intelligence (AI) is being used in many fields, and AI technology is already being used in unmanned vehicles, drones, household robots in developed countries.
In the human society, AI technology can provide innovative services, understanding human emotions in addition to cognition. It is an artificial intelligence with the ability to take decisions into account. A talk on the Artificial Intelligence (AI) is organized in order to widely understand the usefulness and dangers of artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
Therefore, Foundation Course for Public Opinion Mining Analysis (AI) has been given to the personnel from the Media Development Department with the purposes for the improvement of human resource, monitoring fake news and disinformation and conducting data analysis on news flows and analyzing the results.
For the course, 12 participants took the placement test and 8 successful candidates were selected and being trained for three months via online. The personnel need to improve HR to keep up with the changing technology. He said that he hoped that the personnel would be able to re-apply the knowledge and experience gained by asking questions and discussing about AI technology with interest.
