Taliban Delegation Arrives in Qatar amid Tensions with Pakistan

A plane carrying a delegation from Afghanistan's Taliban government landed at Doha International Airport on Friday to participate in talks with Pakistani officials.

The meeting comes a day after Islamabad conducted airstrikes across the border, killing at least 10 people in Afghanistan and ending a brief two-day ceasefire that had temporarily eased tensions along the frontier. Afghan and Pakistani officials are expected to discuss security and border issues during the Doha talks.
