Table Tennis competition: Inter-Unversities Sports Competitions continued

The 2023-24 Acedemic Year Inter-Unversities Sports Competitions organized by the Department of Higher Education under the Ministry of Education which are being held from 9th to 18th January at Nay Pyi Taw Wunna Theikdi Stadium, continued on Monday.
Union Minister for Education Dr. Nyunt Pe, Deputy Minister Dr. Zaw Myint, Directors General, Rectors, Deputy Directors General and officials together with the spectators enjoyed the final matches of Table Tennis held at Wunna Theikdi Stadium B.
At the end of the matches, the prize awarding ceremony continued where the first prize went to Dagon University, second prize to Mandalay University and third prize to Taungoo University for Women’s Team Competition. Similarly for Men’s Team Competition, Yadanapon University won first prize, Taunggyi University grabbed second prize and Mandalay and Mandalar Universities secured the joint third prize respectively.
Likewise, Thae Nanda Su from Yangon University won the Best Women’s Player Award and Htet Myat Han Shein from Yadanapon University won the Best Men’s Player Award and both of them were awared prizes by Deputy Minister for Education Dr. Zaw Myint.
Afterward, the Union Minister for Education Dr. Nyunt Pe presented Championship Trophyof 2023-24 Academic Year Inter-Universities Tabel Tennis Competition to Yadanapon University.
