Türkiye, Senegal discuss defence industry, security cooperation

Turkish President Erdogan said on Thursday he has discussed "cooperation opportunities" with Senegal in areas including "security, the defence industry, the fight against terrorism," during a joint press conference with Senegalese Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko. Following talks, Erdogan hailed Türkiye's growing ties with Africa and vowed "to further strengthen solidarity" in the field of "counterterrorism."
