Swedish Prime Minister commented on Greenland issues

Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson said: “The American administration’s hostile language towards Denmark and Greenland is being met with sharp criticism. Sweden, the Nordic countries, the Baltic states and several other major European countries are standing together in support of our Danish friends.”

Kristersson urged gratitude toward Denmark as a steadfast ally, noting: “the United States ought to be grateful to Denmark, which has been a very loyal ally over the years. In Afghanistan and Iraq, more than 50 Danish soldiers have paid the ultimate price for that loyalty”.
