Suttas reciting contest: SAC member DPM addressed opening ceremony

Member of State Administration Council Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Soe Htut attended the opening ceremony of Dhammacakka Sutta and Anattalakkhana Sutta reciting contest held at the Areindama Hall of Office No (8), Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on 20th June.

In his opening speech, the SAC member Union Minister said that the aim at organizing this Dhammacakka Sutta and Anattalakkhana Sutta reciting contest is to be able to recite those suttas with correct pronunciation as in the original Pali text, widen knowledge on the Dhamma, urged the contestants to participate in the contest with exerted efforts and cordially greeted them.

The Dhammacakka Sutta and Anattalakkhana Sutta reciting contest will be participated by the personnel and staff families from the Union Minister Office, Myanmar Police Force, General Administration Department, Bureau of Special Investigation, Prison Department, Headquarters of Fire Service Department and the Wut Associations from regions and states and the contest will be held from June 20th to 12th July, it’s learnt.
