Surgeons honored as People’s doctors

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the First State Central Hospital, the President of Mongolia, Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, issued a decree conferring high state titles, orders, and medals upon distinguished medical professionals.

The title of People’s Doctor of Mongolia was bestowed upon Professors D. Nyamsuren and O. Sergelen for their outstanding contributions to the diagnosis and treatment of kidney diseases and the introduction of kidney transplantation in Mongolia, contributing to national health policy development and the draft law on organ donation.
