Support for Sports: Victory Flag presented to the Magway Region Sports Team

A victory flag was handed over to the Magway Region Sports Team to participate in the 5th National Sports Festival on November 27th. Chief Minister U Tint Lwin urged all to try their best for winning medals in the upcoming festival.

This was followed by presenting of the victory flag and provision of cash assistance to the sports team. During the ceremony, the Vovinam Team and Wushu Team presented their demonstrations. A total of 420 participants from Magway Region will participate in the upcoming National Sports Festival, competing in 23 types of sport events. Magway Region stood at fourth place with 21 gold, 14 silver and 18 bronze in the 4th National Sports Festival.
