Support for Sports: Union Minister inspects Sports Training Camps in Yangon

Chairman of the Myanmar Olympic Committee Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Jeng Phang Naw Taung on Saturday visited sports training camps in Yangon to inspect preparations for upcoming SEA Games. The Union Minister observed training sessions of men and women I.S.P.E FC football teams at Kyaikkasan Football Ground No.1.

He emphasized the importance of strong physical fitness, technical discipline, and respect for instructions of coaches. He later visited the Myanmar Cricket Federation in Dagon Myothit (North) Township, where preparations are underway for the 33rd SEA Games.

He encouraged systematic training for better performance. At the Myanmar Equestrian Federation, the Union Minister heard reports on training for the Eventing discipline of Dressage, Show Jumping, Cross Country and the development of young riders. He also reviewed facility upgrades and provided the needs.
