









The Kachin State Chief Minister’s U-25 Men’s Futsal Tournament concluded with the final match and awards ceremony held on July 12 at Nyein Chan Thaya Futsal Stadium in Myitkyina. A total of 16 club teams participated in the tournament.
In the final match, A.K.O FC defeated Naung Yar FC with a score of 5–1, securing the championship title. Chief Minister U Khat Htein Nan, together with officials, and futsal fans enjoyed the event. Prizes were awarded for the best player by position, best overall player, and top-performing teams.
The champions, runners-up, and third-place teams each received trophies, medals, and cash awards. In the evening, an honouring ceremony was held at the Kachin State Government Office to recognize the state’s track and field team, which won one silver and two bronze medals at the 2025 Inter-State/Region Athletics Competition.
The Chief Minister praised the team’s achievements and pledged continued support for training and equipment. A total of 6 million kyat was presented to the athletes, coaches, and team administrators. The ceremony concluded with traditional dances, musical performances by Malikha Music Band, and a celebratory dinner.
