Support for Sports: Meeting with Judo Federation Chairman

Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Jeng Phang Naw Taung met with Chairman of Myanmar Judo Federation U Htun Htun at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.

During the meeting, they discussed matters on development of Judo sports, extension for hiring the current Japanese Coach, providing fortified diet and supports as well as the needs of training facilities and instructors.

The discussions also included the arrangements for conducting joint trainings in order to gain competition experience and sending overseas competitions. The Union Minister instructed for systematic work implementation by drafting the short and long term plans for gaining success. He urged all to try their best for achieving success in the upcoming 33rd Southeast Asian Games, and pledged to provide necessary assistance.
