Support for Sports: Inter-Ministry Football Tournament in Kachin State

Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan, along with his wife and relevant officials, attended the final match and awarding ceremony of the 2024 Chief Minister's Cup Inter-Ministry Men's Football Tournament at the State Stadium on Friday.

The Chief Minister and party enjoyed the final match between the State Ministry of Natural Resources and the General Administration Department. In this match, the General Administration Department Football Team emerged victorious with a score of 2-1.

Following the match, the ceremony continued with the awarding ceremony. Relevant officials presented awards and cash prizes to the top athletes and victorious teams. This year's event, featuring seven ministry teams, was organized by the Kachin State Government to foster interdepartmental friendship and promote a healthy, happy work environment.

On the same day, the Chief Minister and party watched a friendly volleyball match between the state champions and the RamPu youth team, who are preparing for the upcoming 5th National Sports Festival, at the Volleyball Gymnasium of the Sports and Physical Education Department. This was followed by the presentation of cash prizes to the participating teams, trainers, coaches, and the RamPu ward administrator.
