









A ceremony to honour the outstanding students in the matriculation exams of 2023-2024 academic year was held at ZeyathiriBeikman in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday.
Those outstanding awardees are the Tatmadawmen and offsprings of Tatmadawmen, veterans and civil staff from the Defence Services (Army, Navy, Air). Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing attended the ceremony and made a speech, highlighting the importance of human resources equipped with high intellectual and intelligentsia for national development nation building endeavours.
He emphasized that education promotion is the effective way to shape the future of the nation. The Senior General urged all to strive to become outstanding youths excelled in physical strength, mental strength, academic strength, moral strength and fraternal strength so as to become reliable ones to the country.
It was followed by the awarding of prizes to the outstanding students with the Medal, Honoria and the Certificates of Honour. During the previous matriculation exams, the Tatmadaw Education School achieved 24.58% passing rate while the Tatmadaw Basic Education Schools have over 60%.
Among the outstanding students, there are 69 six-distinction winners, 80 five-distinction winners, one three-distinction winner, 7 two-distinction winners, 13 one-distinction winners and 34 Lu Ye Chun students were awarded during the ceremony, along with the schools with best passing rates.
