The Super Blue Moon appears in the skies of Israel’s capital Jerusalem. The term "blue moon" refers to the third full moon of a four-part astronomical season, while a "supermoon" is a full moon that occurs when it is closer to the Earth in its orbit, giving it a slightly larger, brighter appearance. Although this rare cosmic event usually happens once every 10 years, NASA said that there was a Super Blue Moon in August last year as well.
