Sudan general's envoy in Egypt for talks with FM

Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry on Tuesday received Sudanese military leader General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan's representative in Cairo.Dafa’alla Al-Haj Ali was also scheduled to meet with the secretary general of the Arab league Ahmed Abu el-Ghait later on Tuesday.

Ambassador Ahmed Abu Zeid, the official spokesman and director of the Public Diplomacy Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that the Sudanese envoy extended his thanks to the government and people of Egypt for welcoming Sudanese citizens who have fled the fighting in Sudan.
