Study Tour: Union Minister visits RCEP Pilot Trade Zone

On the 16th of August, Union Minister for Commerce U Aung Naing Oo paid a visit to the RCEP Trade Center located within the China (Yunnan) Pilot Free Trade Zone in Kunming.

During the visit, officials provided explanations on the showcased products at the South Asia and South East Asia Booths, along with details about the sales conditions. The Union Minister also had the opportunity to witness the sales of products from RCEP member countries through online live streaming, as well as observe the daily sales and distribution processes.

The strategic positioning of the center in Kunming enables the efficient distribution of products originating from South Asia and South East Asia, facilitating international trade services for merchants. Products from Myanmar are also made available for online sales through the center.
