Study Tour :Union Minister visits Minsk of Belarus

At the invitation of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Lieutenant-General Ivan Kubrakob, Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing is making a study tour in the country. Myanmar delegation led by the Union Minister arrived in Minsk on the 2nd of May.

On the 3rd of May, the Union Minister held talks with First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Major General Nazarenko Yuryi Gennadievich on the Belarus immigration and national verification card system operations with the use of biometric technology.

After the meeting, the two sides exchanged memorable gifts. And, officials from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus hosted a dinner for the Myanmar delegation. In Minks, the delegation also visited the National Electronic Central Control and Command Center and made discussions with concerned officials on e-ID system implementation in Belarus, digitization in service industries, resources required for digital service system and efforts for the development of the national digital service system and the current condition as well as Myanmar's immigration operation and e-ID system implementation conditions.
