Study Tour: Myanmar delegation arrives back from Yunnan

Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn continued study tour at the landmarks in Kunming and Yuxi in Yunnan Province, together with representatives of Lancang – Mekong and South Asian countries on 19th June.

Firstly, they visited the Yunnan Maoduoli Group in Yuxi, and observed the production process of over 100 varieties of food stuff from raw material to finished products, using 7 types of modern packaging system. They then proceeded to the Yunnan Gongrunxiang Tea Industry Company, and observed the production process. In the afternoon, the Union Minister and representatives visited Dayan Ancient Town where the residential area are being preserved traditionally.

The area is 2.6 square kilometers wide with the comprise of 5,742 households. It is rated as one of the Six Most Beautiful Ancient Towns & Villages in China. Next, the Union Minister and representatives Yuxi Walvax Biological Technology Co., Ltd, and observed the process of vaccine production.

On the 20th, the Union Minister met with the responsible persons of Yunnan M Time Culture and Communication Co., Ltd, and discussed about the cooperation between M Time Myanmar Micro Video Production and Release Center and MRTV for joint production. Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn departed from Kunming and arrived back in Yangon in the afternoon of 20th June.
