Study Tour: Indian Navy Delegation visits Myanmar

Indian delegation led by Deputy Commandant of Naval War College (NWC) Commodore Prashant Chandrasekharan arrived Myanmar on 2nd December to make a study tour.

On December 3rd, the Indian delegation met with the staff from Indian Embassy in Yangon. On the 4th, the delegation met with the officials from Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Office and Chief of Armed Forces Training Office.

The delegation also visited prominent places in Nay Pyi Taw such as Defence Services Museum, National Defence College, Myanma Gems Museum and paid homage to Upattasanti pagoda and Maravijaya Buddha Image.

On 5th December, the delegation visited Bagan Ancient Cutural Heritage site and Bagan Archaeological Museum. On the 6th and 7th of December, they visited Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon and made study tour to the Navy Vessel (May Yu). The Indian delegation led by the Deputy Commandant of NWC left for India on 8th December.
