Students return to school after Tai Po fire

Due to the fire at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po of Hong Kong, five schools in the Tai Po District remain closed, while some have resumed classes. This secondary school in Tai Po is among those resuming; students began returning around 7 a.m.

The school said that to give students more time to adjust emotionally, Friday’s scheduled exams will be postponed, and emotional support activities have been arranged. Some students said they left home earlier because of road closures in the area; others said they would spend more time accompanying classmates affected by the fire.
