Student Sports Festival: Ayeyawady Region team won the championship title

Ayeyawady Region men football team won the championship title of Basic Education Student Sports Festival for 2022-2023 academic year after beating Yangon Region team with 2-1. Chairman of the State Administrative Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing enjoyed the final match, held at Wunna Theikdhi Stadium in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.

At the prize presentation ceremony, members of the State Administrative Council and the Secretary presented medals, honorary award and cash prizes to the third and second prize winning teams. Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice Senior General Soe Win presented medals to the first prize winning team.

The Prime Minister later presented the honorary cash award and championship cup to the winning team. The Prime Minister also presented 5 million kyats each to the participating teams from the respective regions and states.
