A 6.2-magnitude earthquake hit with its epicenter outside Myanmar (Northern Sumatra, Indonesia) on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology.

The strong earthquake with a depth of 44 kilometers about 993 miles south of Kaba-Aye Seismological Observatory of Myanmar was recorded at 12 hours 35 minutes and 22 seconds Myanmar Standard Time.
