Strengthening Cooperation: Joint Myanmar-Belarus Business Forum

In cooperation with UMFCCI and BelCCI, Joint Myanmar-Belarus Business Forum was held in Yangon on November 27th for boosting economic and investment opportunities between the two countries.

Speaking at the forum, Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Dr. Wah Wah Maung cited the diplomatic relations, strategic guidance by the two countries’ heads of state and cooperation. She also discussed matters on Myanmar-Belarus development cooperation roadmap (2026-2028), investment procedures of Myanmar, investment opportunities of the two countries and market penetration to EAEU.

The visiting Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Maxim Ryzhenkov also spoke on the occassion, followed by the remarks of the UMFCCI Chairman and Bellegprom Chairman. A total of 16 MOUs, agreements and contracts were signed during the event. Prior to the forum, Union Ministers Dr. Wah Wah Maung, U Min Naung, and Dr. Charlie Than held a separate meeting with the Belarusian delegations and exchanged views on current and future cooperation matters between the two countries.
