Streaming Technologies & Content Strategy: Union Minister for Information addresses 3-day workshop

Opening ceremony for the 3-day Workshop on Streaming Technologies and Content Strategy jointly organized by the Ministry of Information and the Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD) took place at Horizon Lake View Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw on November 1.

The Workshop is being conducted with the aim to share knowledge on technology to promote knowledge and skills for the people in media industry to change traditional broadcasting to new streaming platform. This ceremony began with screening a video clip about preventing the risk of media poisoning which was followed by the opening remarks of Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn.

And, the AIBD programme manager clarified about the workshop. Then, the Union Minister provided memorial gift to the AIBD workshop consultant and programme manager. The 3-day workshop joined by 55 officials and staff form media industry is designed to cover financial policies on streaming, streaming workflow and production, key differences between traditional broadcasting and streaming, and advantages and challenges. Guest speakers from New Zealand, India and Malaysia will participate via online system.
