Strategic partnership between Viet Nam and Singapore

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a solemn welcoming ceremony at the Presidential Palace for Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong on an official visit to Viet Nam.

Both sides emphasized on comprehensive strategic partnership, the trust, closeness and aspirations of the two nations. They also pledged to continue effectively promoting the five pillars of the Agreement on Connecting the Two Economies and backed 6 proposals to make Viet Nam-Singapore cooperation a typical example in the region. 

To date, Singapore has maintained its position as the world’s second-largest investor in Viet Nam.
