Straight-sets win over Bulgaria secures spot

Turkiye’s national women’s volleyball team advanced to the last 16 of the World Championship after defeating Bulgaria 3-0 in their second Group E match. The “Sultans of the Net” sealed the win with a 25-13 score in the final set. The result confirmed Turkiye’s qualification for the knockout stage. Their final group match will be against Canada on Wednesday, 27 August, at 12:00.
