Steering Committee Meeting: Urea Fertilizer Purchasing, Distribution and Sale

The Urea Fertilizer Purchasing, Distribution and Sale Steering Committee conducted a work coordination meeting at the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development on Friday.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Steering Committee, Union Minister U Hla Moe emphasized that comprehensive arrangements are underway to ensure the distribution and sale of inputs at affordable prices, meeting the established standards required by farmers and aiming to enhance agricultural productivity and boost crop yields.

He called the relevant departments and members to collaborate and gather timely inputs for the monsoon paddy season, aiming to enhance quality and reduce costs. The meeting discussed the actions taken regarding the resolutions from the previous meeting, the fertilizer tonnage allocations for the 2024-2025 fiscal year, and the ongoing work initiatives.
