The various religious and civil organizations released the statements strongly condemned the violent acts of AA terrorist insurgent group on 30th December, 2024.
In the ongoing conflict in Rakhine State, the Tatmadawmen who carried out the counterattacks with restraints to protect the lives of local civilians. As a result, those who had been captured were subjected to brutal treatment by the Arakan Army (AA) militants. They were reportedly forced to dig their own graves, then were bound and executed, with video footage of these executions being filmed and spread online.
Additionally, the AA militants also exploded a boat carrying Tatmadaw personnel, police officers, and their families and they cruelly killed the women and children who were in drowning.
Due to the extreme violence and inhuman acts which constitute the War Crime committed by the AA militants,Young Men’s Buddhist Association (YMBA) (Central), Myanmar Interfaith Dialogue Group (Central), Myanmar Evangelical Christian Alliance, Union of Myanmar Methodist Church (Lower Myanmar), Faith Evangelical Church (Bago), Deliverance Church (Yangon), All Myanmar Hindu Central Council, All Myanmar Tamil Hindu Foundation (HQ), Thananta Dhamma Palaka (Hindu) Association, Islamic Religious Affairs Council Myanmar, Myanmar Press Council, Myanmar Writers Association, Myanmar Motion Pictures Organization, Myanmar Music Association (Central), Myanmar Artists Association (Central), Myanmar Theatrical Association (Central), Myanmar Comedians’ Association, Myanmar Sports Medias and Pinnaygon Yakhine Jaame Mosque issued statements strongly condemning the acts of terrorism.
