State Promotion Fund: Management Committee holds meeting 5/2023

Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Planning and Finance U Win Shein in his capacity as Chairman of the State Economic Promotion Fund Management Committee addressed the committee meeting 5/2023 on Wednesday at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw.

In his address, the Deputy Prime Minister said in the operation report submitted to the State Administration Council Office, the advantages found by lending the state economic promotion fund, weaknesses, the benefits obtained and reviews were presented.

In order to properly record the accounting forms, a (2) day course will be opened for relevant officials of the fund management committees through the online system. The State Economic Promotion Fund now has a total of 552 billion kyats. It is necessary for relevant officials to strictly monitor the lending and collection of loans from the State Economic Promotion Fund in accordance with the procedures, the Deputy Prime Minister added.

Attendees made discussions on summer paddy and mung bean loans lending and collection, monsoon paddy loan lending, oil industry development loan, preparations for winter paddy loan lending, weaknesses and review. The Deputy Prime Minister coordinated the discussions and concluded the meeting.
