State Economic Promotion Fund :Nay Pyi Taw Council holds clarification meeting

A Meeting on State Economic Promotion Fund Clarification was held at the meeting hall of the Nay Pyi Taw Council Office on Wednesday with the attendance of Chairman of the Nay Pyi Taw Council U Than Tun Oo, members of Nay Pyi Taw Council and departmental officials.

Speaking on the occasion, the Nay Pyi Council Chairman said that in extending farmlands, accelerating multi crop plantations to meet high yield and conducting livestock farming for the local sufficiency in Nay Pyi Taw, the farmers and growers should not depend on only the State Economic Promotion Fund.

The government is actively working for the development of the agriculture sector and to increase the income of the farmers and growers by establishing the State Economic Promotion Fund. Everyone is encouraged to accelerate the monsoon paddy plantation to meet the yield target and multi crop plantation by applying all cultivated lands effectively.

All of the farmers and growers are encouraged to participate in accelerating triple cropping under the instruction of the Chairman of the State Administration Council. As the State Economic Promotion Fund is being arranged for monsoon paddy plantation, agriculture inputs will be provided for the farmers to reduce the costs.

Then, the Secretary of Nay Pyi Taw Council U Tin Maung Swe clarified the implemented tasks and measures to be undertaken for the State Economic Promotion activities within Nay Pyi Taw Council area.

Then, the members of the Nay Pyi Taw Council and departmental officials submitted sector wise reports and the chairman of the Nay Pyi Taw Council coordinated the requirements.
