Starmer, Macron, Abbas meet in Egypt ahead of Gaza summit

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas met in Egypt ahead of a global summit aimed at ending the Gaza conflict. The summit, co-chaired by US President Donald Trump and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, will bring together more than 20 world leaders.

Discussions will focus on consolidating the Gaza ceasefire and addressing the recent exchange of Israeli hostages for Palestinian prisoners. Leaders are expected to explore measures to stabilize the region and support humanitarian and reconstruction efforts in Gaza.
