Starmer boards aircraft carrier on course for military exercises in Indo-Pacific

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Defence Minister John Healey visited the aircraft carrier HMS Prince of Wales, as it heads off to lead the international Carrier Strike Group to the Indo-Pacific. Starmer met the soldiers on board the ship ahead of an eight-month deployment to the Indo-Pacific region and said that the deployment was a show of ‘global leadership on defence and security’.
